1. Introduction

Welcome to WH Photography (“we”, “our”, “the studio”). By booking a session, purchasing services, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed only once a deposit or full payment has been received.
• Deposits are non‑refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Remaining balances must be paid by the date specified on your invoice.
• Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your session or withholding of delivered images.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Clients may request to reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• In the rare event we must cancel, all payments will be refunded or transferred to a new date.

4. Session Conduct

• Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared for the session.
• If a client arrives late, the session may be shortened to maintain scheduling.
• We reserve the right to end a session early if behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive.

5. Image Delivery

• Preview galleries or final images will be delivered within the timeframe stated at booking.
• Delivery is typically via secure online gallery unless otherwise agreed.
• Raw/unedited files are not provided under any circumstances.

6. Editing & Retouching

• All delivered images include our standard colour grading and retouching style.
• Additional retouching requests may incur extra fees.
• Clients may not alter images with filters or edits that misrepresent our work.

7. Copyright & Usage Rights

• All photographs remain the copyright of WH Photography.
• Clients receive a personal-use licence, allowing sharing and printing for non-commercial purposes.
• Commercial use, resale, or publication requires a separate written licence.
• We may use images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the session.

8. Model Release

By participating in a session, clients grant permission for their likeness to appear in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless a written opt‑out is provided in advance.

9. Liability

• We take great care with equipment, backups, and data handling, but cannot be held liable for loss due to events beyond our control (equipment failure, accidents, force majeure).
• In the unlikely event of total image loss, our liability is limited to a full refund of the session fee.

10. Client Responsibilities

• Clients must secure permissions for shooting locations, props, or third‑party venues.
• Clients are responsible for the safety of personal belongings during sessions.

11. Gift Cards & Vouchers

• Gift cards are non‑refundable and valid for the period stated at purchase.
• They cannot be exchanged for cash.

12. Website Use

• All content on our website—including images, text, and design—is protected by copyright.
• Users may not copy, distribute, or reproduce content without written permission.

13. Privacy

We respect your privacy and only collect information necessary to provide our services. Personal data is never sold or shared with third parties except where required to deliver your booking.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the latest version.
